ello Brings Corporate Travel Booking Into Slack, Teams and AI Tools
ello brings corporate travel booking into Slack, Teams and AI tools through its MCP server.
Sydney, Australia – ello, Australia and New Zealand’s leading AI-powered corporate travel booking platform, is launching new ways for businesses to access ello from the tools their teams already use every day.
Through ello’s MCP server, companies will be able to connect ello into workplace channels such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, as well as MCP-enabled AI tools including Claude, Microsoft Copilot and other AI platforms.
The idea is simple: corporate travel booking should not always require people to open another system.
A traveller could ask for flight options from Slack. A manager could approve a booking from Teams. A booker could work with ello directly from their AI assistant of choice. The booking still runs through ello, but the user can start and manage the process from the channel they are already working in.
For businesses, this creates more flexibility without giving up control. Travel policy, approvals, user permissions and servicing workflows remain connected in the background, regardless of where the request starts.
Companies can also choose how ello behaves depending on the channel being used. For example, one business may want Slack to support simple domestic bookings, while another may want Teams to handle approvals only. Different policies and workflows can be applied to different channels, teams or client environments.
“People are already using Slack, Teams and AI tools to get work done,” said Ben Wheeler, CTO of ello. “Corporate travel should be able to sit inside those workflows, rather than forcing users to stop what they are doing and move into another booking tool.”
The launch gives travel management companies and corporate customers another way to make ello easier to access, while keeping the managed travel structure they need.
For travellers and bookers, it means fewer steps. For approvers, it means faster decisions. For businesses, it means better adoption of the travel program because the booking experience sits closer to how people already work.
ello will continue expanding the ways businesses can connect to the platform, giving customers more choice in how corporate travel is searched, booked and approved.
Same ello platform. More ways to access it.
